I kinda wished they had allowed Sue Storm to do her flying invisble force field bubble. Sue Storm (Invisible Woman) is the most powerful of the heroes & she needs to be, as she has to make peace between the always bickering friends her abilities include projecting invisibility and an invisible force field. Johnny Storm gains the ability to heat his body up to super temperatures, even approaching the sun and he can even form fiery blasts and fly like a rocket. Ben Grimm(Thing) becomes this hideous, but super strong and invulnerable rock monster. Fantastic) gains the ability based on the incredible strength, durability, and stretching ability of plastic he is also the leader. When Victor Von Doom finances a trip to space, everything goes wrong with the advent of an unexpected cosmic storm and being bombarded with super high levels of radiation changes the 5 passengers forever.
The Fantastic 4 is a awesome movie it has great special effects, great fighting scenes, great character chemistry, a great storyline, & it even has great humor, which I must say is hard to find N a sci-fi movie - none of the other comic book movies has even an ounce of it. Good Thru-out, Prelude 2 Sequel Last 30 Mins. At the end, a door is left open for what could be a super sequel. The heroes quickly master their abilities and channel their scientific smarts for one truly fantastic five-way face-off.Visually, action sequences give way to tranquil interludes such as the New York City skyline with the Fantastics' lab glowing atop a skyscraper, while plot-wise, the interplay between the characters brings a human element to the film, with some touching moments from The Thing. Holing up in Fantastic's scientific lab where they run experiments on themselves in hopes of changing back to normal, the crew learns that Doctor Doom-who is so power hungry that he turns into metal and is able to conduct electrical currents-poses a serious threat. And finally, The Thing, a great friend who is as solid as a rock, actually turns into one-and loses his wife due to his weighty disposition. The Human Torch, an immature guy who is brimming with energy, can burst into flames. Invisible Woman, who loves Fantastic but thinks he can't see her for who she really is, does a disappearing act. Mister Fantastic, who lacks assertion, has stretchy limbs of rubber. Back on earth, the transformed "heroes" adjust to their new powers, which are specific to their personalities. The ship's owner (Julian McMahon)-who later transforms into evil Doctor Doom-refuses to abort the mission during a solar storm, which electrifies the ship and its entire crew, causing radical changes to their DNA. Here, Mister Fantastic (Ioan Gruffudd), Invisible Woman (Jessica Alba), The Human Torch (Chris Evans), and The Thing (Michael Chiklis) come together on a space mission that goes wrong.

Now Watts will make films for Marvel Studios proper, and with several installments already under his belt. Keeping Watts in-house makes sense: Kevin Feige has had to share the skilled blockbuster director with Sony thanks to the ( near-disastrous) pact made to produce the Spidey trilogy. 4?įantastic Four will be directed by Jon Watts, who is the rare filmmaker to helm three movies in the MCU: Spider-Man: Homecoming, Far from Home, and the No Way Home, due out on Dec. That would leave the fall of 2023 wide open for the movie - or sometime in 202. In an announcement video, Marvel teased that Fantastic Four would arrive after Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. Now, in a batch of new Marvel release date updates, the studio has once again hyped its reimagining of comics’ “First Family” for hungry Marvel audiences.
Of course, Marvel fans have not forgotten: Rumors that Reed Richards would pop up in WandaVision ran so rampant during the Disney Plus show’s run that director Matt Shakman later apologized to fans.
